Things are as they are supposed to be on the Outer Banks. The sun is out, there’s a light breeze, lines have formed at John’s Drive-in on the Beach Road in Kitty Hawk. It’s all part of what makes life so great on the Outer Banks
It’s always good to welcome our out of town visitors back, and right now the roads are filled with out of state license plates, families are on the beach, the surfing is iffy, but the fishing is improving.
It’s still a bit cold to get in the water, the ocean temperatures are still hovering around 50 degrees, but with the sun out the sand has warmed nicely and the upcoming week looks pretty nice with a midweek break for April showers.
Of course as busy as it is right now, it’s nothing like it will be when summer comes—and summer is an amazing time to be on the Outer Banks with so much for the whole family to do, great weather and a beautiful setting.
There is still some availability for summer rentals, but our Brindley Beach homes are filling up quickly. July is getting very full although we may still be able to find something, but if vacation plans fall in August, we may still be able to match your needs with one of our properties. Call us at (877) 642-3224 or check us out online—but don’t wait too long. We’re always very close to 100% filled by the end of summer.
