Couture by the Shore is coming up this Saturday, and it’s one of those Outer Banks NC events that are fun and with the money going to a good cause.
This event in comparison to the other Outer Banks NC events is a fundraiser for the Outer Banks Relief Foundation, a great local organization that is often the first ones to step in and offer help when a family has lost their home to fire. Or if an illness is devastating family finances.
They are the ones that so often find emergency housing for a family. Sometimes the OBRF provides transportation to medical appointments that are off the beach.
They have been a part of Outer Banks life since 2006 and in that time more than 850 families have been helped and more than $1.75 million in aid has been provided.
Brindley Beach Vacations is proud to be a sponsor of Couture by the Shore, making sure that that the good works of the OBRF will continue.
Outer Banks NC Events – About Couture by the Shore
Couture by the Shore is one of the premier fundraising Outer Banks NC events for the organization. Held this year at Duck Woods Country Club in Southern Shores, it’s an event that brings out the best in Outer Banks fashions and local models.
It’s an afternoon event with doors opening at 11:00 a.m.
With outfits provided by Birthday Suits, Foxy Flamingo Boutique, Grays Sportswear, Honey & Hive Boutique, Life’s A Beach, Mudpie, Outer Banks Boarding Company, The French Door, Untucked, and Zen & Zip, it makes for a full afternoon of food and fun.
Falling on Mother’s Day Weekend, lunch with a drink or two while enjoying a fashion show may be perfect for mom. Or it may be the ideal time to find an outfit for her.
A heads up—next week is music festival week on the Outer Banks. Wednesday through Saturday it’s the Outer Banks Bluegrass Festival in Manteo. Saturday and Sunday the Mustang Music Spring Jam takes the stage in Corolla. Click here to contact us!
