If we were in England, today would be Boxing Day…but we’re on the Outer Banks so it’s just the day after Christmas. And a great Christmas it was, with near perfect weather and lots of goings and comings of friends and relatives.
Now that Christmas is past us, it’s time to start looking forward to what’s next and what’s next is New Year’s Eve.
We already mentioned that one of the coolest places to ring in the New Year is in downtown Manteo, but that’s one place where cool can become cold fairly rapidly. For the less hearty, or those who may wish a slip of champagne or two to bring in the new year, we did some research.
We did some research and we found quite a number of local bars, taverns and restaurants with New Year’s Eve festivities planned. This is just a sampling of what we found. By all means, contact that personal favorite place and see if they have plans.
