Under the heading of “Don’t Wait for the Last Minute” we’re putting the word out that this year’s Mustang Music Festival over Columbus Day Weekend looks like it’s going to be the best one yet.
Mike Dianna has done an amazing job bringing some great musicians to Corolla for his annual fall bash, and it looks as though the 2014 version will offer more music and more variety than anything he has done before. More groups, a lot of different sounds and the venue is moving to the grounds of the Whalehead Club, which is a much nicer setting than the parking lot and porch of his restaruant, Mike Dianna’s Grill Room.
One of the nicest features of the Festival is the way Mike organizes things, there is always a band performing.
The event has always been kid friendly and it looks as though that’s been improved as well. Kitty Hawk Kites is coming in to set up one of their Kidzones and OBX Island Childcare will be on hand to offer childcare.
Mark your calendars—the Mustang Music Festival is October 10-11, it’s been getting better and better every year and best of all it’s all for a good cause. Funds raised at the festival go to help the Corolla Wild Horse Fund in their mission to preserve the wild mustangs of Corolla.
