The Outer Banks Brewing Station in Kill Devil Hills, one of a number of Outer Banks locations to watch the Super Bowl.

In our never ending quest to give our Brindley Beach friends the best possible information, we have compiled a list of places to go for a true Outer Banks Super Bowl Sunday experience.

Some are sports bars, but most fall under the heading of a local tavern that’s a great place to have a drink, some wings or a burger and watch the game.

We searched and searched and couldn’t find anything in Corolla—sorry. Same with Manteo, although in both cases, there may a business we missed.

Nags Head

Dirty Dick’s Crab House

2407 S Croatan Hwy, Nags Head

Great price on their “Wings & Things” buffet while the game is on.

Kill Devil Hills

Mama Kwan’s Grill & Tiki Bar

1701 S. Croatan Highway, Kill Devil Hills

Innovative and very well prepared food. Small bar area, but could be a good option. So close to Nags Head that it could almost be there.

Roosters Southern Kitchen

804 S Croatan Hwy, Kill Devil Hills

Very good food. Beer, wine and what might be the most complete full-service bar on the Outer Banks. Bar area has four or five televisions.

Outer Banks Brewing Station

600 S Croatan Hwy, Kill Devil Hills

The big game on the big screen. Outstanding food and they brew their own beer

Just George’s Sports Bar

705 S. Croatan Highway, Kill Devil Hills

Inside Captain George’s. Lots of food—it is a buffet restaurant—and plenty of televisions.

Two Roads Tavern

3105 N Croatan Hwy, Kill Devil Hills

Outstanding gourmet burgers and oyster specials. Craft beer on tap and good wine by the glass. 20 TVs.

Kitty Hawk

B K Shuckers

4020 N Croatan Hwy, Kitty Hawk

Oysters, burgers and beer…and televisions in every corner of the bar.

3833 N Croatan Hwy, Kitty Hawk

Good food, reasonable prices. A classic bar setting. Next to the Post Office.
