Brindley Beach Vacations's Jennifer Franklin and Tracy Seal manning our booth at the 2015 Wedding Expo.
The Outer Banks Wedding Association Wedding Expo has come and gone and the 2015 edition seems to have been the best attended yet. And if what the vendors were telling us is accurate, it looks as though 2015 and 2016 may be record setters for weddings on the Outer Banks.
Every vendor we spoke agreed that brides and their families seem more confident in the economy going forward this year and that confidence translated into more commitments to Outer Banks wedding vendors.
The show itself was typically spectacular, if a bit exhausting. Spread across two schools there were well over 120 vendors to see and covering everything from wedding videos to floral arrangements to activities for the wedding party.
One of the more memorable aspects of the Expo are the food vendors as the ply the guests with some of the most amazing culinary creations imaginable. A lot of food—and it’s all very, very good.
