Welcome to the Beach!
We are happy to announce that we can welcome visitors back to the beach beginning Saturday, May 16, 2020! Due to Covid-19, we have revised Brindley Beach Vacations protocol to help our guests and owners vacation on this wonderful island while still practicing social distancing to protect your family and ours. If you have any questions you can email or call 877-642-3224 (understand please our phone lines are extremely busy right now) or email email@example.com. (Please see Dare/ Currituck County links below for updated county information on COVID-19)
If an office check in is required for your vacation home please send 1 person in your party in to our office to pick up any needed check in materials. Please wait at the marked locations on the floor should there be more than one person in the office at a time. Please also understand for everyone’s health we cannot offer public restrooms so please plan accordingly.
If you do not need to pick up any check in materials you will be directed to go straight to your home and will have the key code in advance that will begin working at check in time.
If you arrive early please have a plan in place with some options to do while you wait for 4:00 check in (or 1:00 check in time if Early Check in was purchased). This year unfortunately, our offices cannot be used to wait for your vacation property to be ready.
*If you are renting a Sparkle Club home you will be able to check in to the ground level at noon as advertised. Until cleaning is completed do not attempt to go to the upper levels as cleaning will cease if housekeepers are interrupted. You may access upper levels once housekeeping crews depart. Housekeeping crews will leave if cleaning is interrupted by guests.
Throughout your stay please call or email us with any issues and we will do our best to have any issues you are experiencing fixed as quickly as possible. If you are having a problem that requires an office visit please send the leaseholder (1 person) in to the office and we will work with them to solve the issue.
Our maintenance technicians will be able to come to your vacation home to fix any issues needed. Please be respectful and social distance giving them space to complete their work quickly so that you can continue your vacation. Technicians will wear masks/ face coverings and request access to the closest sink to wash/sanitize their hands before and after a service call.
Community Amenities/ Restaurants/ Non-Essential Businesses
Community amenities, restaurants, gyms, etc. that are usually available to you on vacation may not be open during your stay. Brindley Beach Vacations cannot guarantee nor do we have control over the availability of these businesses during the 2020 season.
Supplies to bring with you
It is a good idea to bring needed supplies with you due to the recent demand of specific items, some products may not be readily available.
- Face masks for your entire party (required in stores)
- Toilet paper and paper towels
- Sanitizing items and cleaning supplies (wipes and spray)
- Blankets and Quilts for beds (see cleaning below)
We have implemented a COVID-19 disinfect and clean program which includes guidelines from the World Health Organization, CDC and EPA. This checklist requires all “high touch points” like doorknobs, light switches, faucets and other areas be disinfected with recommended COVID-19 specific EPA cleaning solutions. Our housekeeping and maintenance personnel have been educated and equipped with the necessary personal protection equipment to complete their work. The safety and health of our employees, guests, owners and community are foremost in our efforts.
Sheets and a bath towel will still be provided and beds will be made with fresh sheets washed by CDC guidelines and pillows will be double pillow-cased. All comforters, quilts, blankets and decorative pillows have been disinfected and stored neatly in closets. You may use the bedding provided HOWEVER IT IS SUGGESTED YOU BRING YOUR OWN. If you use bedding in the house please do not place it back in the closet. (Please see video below on COVID-19 cleaning)
Brindley Beach Vacations will let you know over time as restrictions change.
