"Days Like This" is a charming 4 bedroom cottage in the heart of Duck! It's within easy walking distance to the private community beach as well as coffee shops, restaurants and retail shops. Park the car and enjoy a pedestrian lifestyle for the week. The community of Schooner Ridge is a family friendly Oceanside community offering outstanding amenities! Enjoy use of the Oceanside community pool, the INDOOR pool located at the clubhouse, second community pool with adjacent kiddie pool and playground, outdoor tennis courts, indoor racquetball courts, workout room, and game room. All amenities are within walking distance! 

Ground Level: Exterior amenities include a fire pit with sitting area, outside shower and grilling area with a charcoal grill. Entry level with washer and dryer.

Mid Level: 3 Queen Bedrooms each with deck access, Bedrooms with 2 Bunk Sets and deck access and 2 full hall bathrooms.

Top Level: Great room with flat-screen TV and deck access, kitchen with counter seating for 3, dining area seating 6 and deck access. Den with Daybed and Trundle, flat-screen TV and half bath.

Extras: 2 TVs, high-speed internet, outside shower, charcoal grill, fire pit, high chair, pack-n-play, linens and towels provided and Schooner Ridge Community Indoor and Oceanfront community pools and tennis. No Smoking. No Pets. Full week rentals only. House Address: 114 Chip Court, Duck. Beds: 3 Queens, 2 Bunk Sets, Daybed, Trundle. Distance to beach access: 2100'. Key Type: Keyless entry. CHECK IN LOCATION: 1213-C Duck Road, Duck Office.

Linens and towels provided at no additional cost. This home will provide sheets for all beds and the beds will be made with the exception of sleep sofas, top bunks and trundle beds in which case the sheets are provided. This home also provides 1 bath towel and 1 wash cloth per person the house sleeps, 2 hand towels per full bathroom, 1 hand towel per half bathroom and a bath mat for each shower or tub.

This property does not offer a landline telephone.

Booking: During the booking process you will be asked to enter a credit card number, nothing will be charged to this card. You will receive an email 24 hours after booking with instructions to log on to guest web to electronically sign your lease agreement and make your advance payment. You will have 10 days to sign your lease agreement and pay your advance payment to avoid cancellation. We offer optional travel insurance that you can opt in or out of on your lease agreement. Your final payment will be due 30 days prior to arrival. Reservations booked within 45 days of arrival will have 72 hours to sign the lease agreement and submit payment in full.

121 Schooner Ridge Drive (252-261-6774) – Accessible by wristbands available at the Recreation Center.

Clubhouse Hours: (Mem-Labor Day) M-F 8:30am-7:30pm, Sat-Sun 10:00am-4:00pm; (Off-season) M-F 9:00am-6:00pm, Sat-Sun 10:00am-4:00pm. No lifeguards on duty at any pool, swimming is always at your own risk. Children under age 12 are not allowed in any pools without a parent or guardian.

Parking passes are required Memorial Day-Labor Day and Wristbands are required to be worn when using ALL amenities, including accessing the beach via the walkway.

Schooner Ridge Community Restrictions

  • Renters are not permitted to operate golf carts, mopeds, or any other unlicensed and/or unregistered motor vehicles. 
  • Golf carts are to be parked in a designated parking space, display a parking pass, and must be driven by a licensed driver.  
  • RVs, trailers and boats are NOT permitted within the community, unless they fit COMPLETELY in the garage or carport.
  • On-street parking is strictly prohibited.
  • All items left on the beach or under/on walkways to beach before 6:30am and after 6:30pm are subject to confiscation as well as a civil penalty. Please take all beach gear back to your rental each night. 

  • Town of Duck - Tent/Chair/Shade Restrictions:

    • Set ups must allow for 15 feet, from the base of the dune, travel lane for emergency access and must not be closer than 10 feet to dune vegetation or turtle nest.
    • Set ups must not be closer than 50 feet, in any direction, from a lifeguard stand, emergency, or beach access.
    • Tents may not exceed 12x12, cannot be taller than 9 feet, cannot be tied together with another tent (unless they are perpendicular to the shore), must be spaced 10 feet from each other, and guy wires may not extend beyond the 12x12 max limit.
    • All shade structures must be secure.
