This beautiful, Oceanside retreat offers upscale amenities and is sure to please the entire group! Just a short walk to the beach, this well furnished home includes many great amenities including a private pool with tiki bar, hot tub, rec room with pool table and kitchenette and more outdoor fun with volleyball and a basketball hoop. 

Ground Level: Exterior amenities include a basketball hoop, volleyball court, gas grill, fully gated private pool with tiki bar, hot tub, horseshoe pit, outside shower and outside half bath. Entry level. Inside you'll find the Recroom with pool table, flat-screen TV, arcade game table (including PacMan, Donkey Kong, Ms. PacMan, etc.) and a kitchenette with full size refrigerator, sink and microwave. King Master Bedroom with flat-screen TV, Bedroom with 2 DuoBunks, flat-screen TV and semi-private bathroom (second door from bathroom to hallway). Laundry area with washer and dryer.

Mid Level: 2 King Master Bedrooms each with flat-screen TVs and deck access, Bedroom with 2 Queens, flat-screen TV and semi-private bathroom (second door from bathroom to hallway).

Top Level: Open great room with flat-screen TV and deck access, kitchen with 2 dishwashers and counter seating for 4, dining area seating 10 with deck access and an elevated breakfast nook seating 4. King Bedroom with flat-screen TV, deck access and a semi-private bathroom (shared with living areas). Crow’s nest with deck seating and ocean views!

Extras: Private Pool (32 x 16, heated for $500), Hot tub, 8 TVs, gas firepit (available only when pool heat is purchased), pool table, arcade game table, kitchenette, basketball hoop, volleyball court, gas grill, tiki bar, horseshoe pit,  2 full-size refrigerators, 2 dishwashers, deck furniture, outside shower, outside half bath, parking for 8-10 vehicles. 2024, PRIVATE POOL is open from 5/11/24 -10/11/24

Heated Pool available for a $500 weekly fee and includes guest use of the gas firepit. Without pool heat the firepit will not be available to guests. 

Linens and towels provided at no additional cost. This home will provide sheets for all beds and the beds will be made with the exception of sleep sofas, top bunks and trundle beds in which case the sheets are provided. This home also provides 1 bath towel and 1 wash cloth per person the house sleeps, 2 hand towels per full bathroom, 1 hand towel per half bathroom and a bath mat for each shower or tub.

Gas Fireplace is not available for guest use.  

Booking: During the booking process you will be asked to enter a credit card number, nothing will be charged to this card. You will receive an email 24 hours after booking with instructions to log on to guest web to electronically sign your lease agreement and make your advance payment. You will have 10 days to sign your lease agreement and pay your advance payment to avoid cancellation. We offer optional travel insurance that you can opt in or out of on your lease agreement. Your final payment will be due 30 days prior to arrival. Reservations booked within 45 days of arrival will have 72 hours to sign the lease agreement and submit payment in full.

The beach access is so close! We rented a golf cart and would highly recommend that, as there is a grocery store/restaurants/coffee shops super close. Perfect location and perfect home for a large group!

High Heat was the perfect location to relax and rejuvenate. The kitchen had every tool, pan, dish, glass and serving platter that one could want and far exceeded my expectations for a rental, even a luxury rental. The furnishings superseded by hopes they were clean and comfortable with finishing touches in every room that make the space inviting and warm. Kids and adults enjoyed the volleyball court, basketball court, pool, jacuzzi, video games, pools, games and puzzles. High Heat is situated on a large lot with plenty of parking and is a short, easy walk to the beach. Wrap around decks on the 2nd and 3rd can be accessed by the king suites and allow privacy in addition to the space off the living room which allows family gathering. High Heat even has rooftop deck with a built-in bench allowing one to enjoy sunrise and views north, south and east. Our only regret is that life beckoned us home and we could not stay longer. Looking forward to staying at High Heat again.

The streets within Whalehead are ideal for biking, walking, and jogging. Each Whalehead home sits on a larger lot (200 feet x 100 feet) with some homes connected to the new community water system and others still on well water systems with water filtration systems. All Whalehead beach rentals are located within a few miles of a grocery store, restaurants, movie theater, and retail shops. Whalehead is a favorite choice with close proximity to the heart of Corolla’s attractions and amenities.

  • Items left on the beach or under/on walkways to beach after sunset are subject to confiscation. Please take all beach gear back to your rental each night.
