This bright oceanfront beach house is tucked away on a quiet cul-de-sac offering amazing Ocean and Sound views from the huge wrap around decks. With bright spacious rooms and comfortable decor, Lazy Bones aims to please.

Mid Level: Exterior amenities include a carport, 2 outside showers, picnic table and a charcoal grill. Inside you'll find a Queen Bedroom with TV and deck access, Queen Master Bedroom with TV/VCR/DVD and deck access, Bedroom with a Bunk Set, Single and Trundle , full hall bath, and laundry area.

Top Level: Great room with TV/VCR/DVD, wood-burning fireplace, deck access and beautiful Ocean views, well-equipped kitchen with counter seating 4, large dining room seating 8, half bath, and screened porch.

Extras: 3 TVs, 2 VCRs, 2 DVD players, stereo with CD, high-speed wireless internet, book library, pack-n-play, baby gate, card/game table, screened porch, 2 outside showers, picnic table, wood-burning fireplace, community water, charcoal grill, parking for 3 vehicles, linens and towels provided and Community Pool and Tennis. No Smoking. No Pets. Full week rentals only. Distance to beach access: Oceanfront. House Address: 136 Waxwing Lane. Beds: 2 Queens, Single, Bunk Set, Trundle. Key Type: Keyless entry. CHECK IN LOCATION: 1213-C Duck Road, Duck Office.

Linens and towels provided at no additional cost. This home will provide sheets for all beds and the beds will be made with the exception of sleep sofas, top bunks and trundle beds in which case the sheets are provided. This home also provides 1 bath towel and 1 wash cloth per person the house sleeps, 2 hand towels per full bathroom, 1 hand towel per half bathroom and a bath mat for each shower or tub.

Booking : During the booking process you will be asked to enter a credit card number, nothing will be charged to this card. You will receive an email 24 hours after booking with instructions to log on to guest web to electronically sign your lease agreement and make your advance payment. You will have 10 days to sign your lease agreement and pay your advance payment to avoid cancellation. We offer optional travel insurance that you can opt in or out of on your lease agreement. Your final payment will be due 30 days prior to arrival. Reservations booked within 45 days of arrival will have 72 hours to sign the lease agreement and submit payment in full.

This house has amazing views in a very relaxing environment . We had such a wonderful time. With such a large open space I was able to have my daughter, grandchildren, and great grandchildren over for a large meal, time at the beach, and time to visit.

This is an older home with the usual older home furnishings but it is quite comfortable and it is oceanfront so definitely worth a try. The off-season rate is very reasonable.

This is ocean front with a great view of the ocean. Sunrises can not be beat! Very close walk to the beach from the house, up and over the dune by steps. Decorations are very 70s and it is a homey property and in need of a makeover. Comfortable. Lots of books, puzzles, bring your own games (these are missing parts). One DVD player in living room, none in bedrooms but there are TVs in 2 bedrooms. Canvas beach chairs on location. Showers on ground level under house.

Loved this property. It was our first time visiting OBX and Duck was the nicest town by far. The property was only a few miles from town and in a quaint neighborhood with plenty of privacy and ample space for 6 guests. I would definitely return.

This home definitely needs some updates, including elimination of the musty smell on the bedroom level. Great proximity to the beach...cannot get any closer! If you can overlook the minor issues, its a great house to spend the week!

Sanderling Community Restrictions

  • Motorbikes, ATVs, Golf Carts and motor homes/campers are prohibited and may not be parked or stored in the community.
  • Jet skis and wave runners may not be used, operated, launched, retrieved, tied up at any dock, moored in the sound or ocean, parked or stored anywhere in the community.
  • Items left on the beach or under/on walkways to beach after sunset are subject to confiscation. Please take all beach gear back to your rental each night.
