Under new ownership in 2023. New owners plan to renovate the main house including all new flooring, new kitchen, fireplace, remodeled bedrooms and additional bath to create a primary suite. Photos will be updated upon renovation completion, estimated April 2024.

Ground Level: Exterior amenities include a carport, outside shower, elevator and shared boardwalk walkway to the beach. ELEVATOR to all levels.

Mid Level: 2 Queen Bedrooms (one with TV and deck access), 2 Bedrooms each with 2 Singles and deck access, 2 full baths, laundry with washer and dryer and deck access. Separate apartment with living room with TV/DVD, kitchenette and Queen Sleep Sofa and a King Master Bedroom with TV and deck access.

Top Level: Great room with TV/DVD, stereo with CD, game table seating 4, ocean views and deck access, half bath, kitchen with pantry and counter seating 4, dining room seating 8-10 (with table leaf added), sun room with TV/DVD and ocean views.

Extras: ELEVATOR, 5 TVs, 3 DVDs, stereo/CD, wireless high-speed internet, pack-n-play, books, movies, gas grill, outside shower, shared/ direct beach access, linens and towels provided, wet bar, tennis available (with nominal user fee) and community pool. No Smoking. No Pets. Full week rentals only. Distance to beach access: 180'. House Address: 116 Pelican Way. Beds: King, 2 Queens, 4 Singles, Queen Sleep Sofa. Key Type: Keyless entry. CHECK IN LOCATION: 1213-C Duck Road, Duck Office.

Linens and towels provided at no additional cost. This home will provide sheets for all beds and the beds will be made with the exception of sleep sofas, top bunks and trundle beds in which case the sheets are provided. This home also provides 1 bath towel and 1 wash cloth per person the house sleeps, 2 hand towels per full bathroom, 1 hand towel per half bathroom and a bath mat for each shower or tub.

Booking: During the booking process you will be asked to enter a credit card number, nothing will be charged to this card. You will receive an email 24 hours after booking with instructions to log on to guest web to electronically sign your lease agreement and make your advance payment. You will have 10 days to sign your lease agreement and pay your advance payment to avoid cancellation. We offer optional travel insurance that you can opt in or out of on your lease agreement. Your final payment will be due 30 days prior to arrival. Reservations booked within 45 days of arrival will have 72 hours to sign the lease agreement and submit payment in full.

This was our 5th stay at the Sandcastle. We love staying there. Close to the beach, and a separate apartment for the grandparents. Very comfortable home for our family.

Wonderful property. Away from the masses and private. Fantastic views of the ocean and sunrises. Deer and foxes were seen from balcony. Very comfortable home. The apartment was an added bonus. Kitchen has everything imaginable which made cooking a joy. Everyone had a great time. Beach is very close. The house comes equipped with beach chairs (not the cheap ones) Outside shower has warm water to clean off most the sand. Have reserved it for next year!!!!

Sanderling Community Restrictions

  • Motorbikes, ATVs, Golf Carts and motor homes/campers are prohibited and may not be parked or stored in the community.
  • Jet skis and wave runners may not be used, operated, launched, retrieved, tied up at any dock, moored in the sound or ocean, parked or stored anywhere in the community.
  • Items left on the beach or under/on walkways to beach after sunset are subject to confiscation. Please take all beach gear back to your rental each night.
