Accessible by 4x4 only! "Let's Just Sea" is nestled only a stone's throw from the ocean, this GORGEOUS four bedroom home offers breathtaking views of the ocean and the sounds of the surf! Experience the Outer Banks the way people did years ago! No roads, no distractions, no complications - just miles of gorgeous coastline. Relax, unwind and reconnect with your loved ones. Located in Carova beach, renowned for its clean and wide beaches. Keep an eye out for wild horses grazing nearby or dolphins playing in the surf!

Ground level: Exterior amenities include a covered carport, gated pool area with 2 picnic tables, corn hole game and outside shower. Entry level. Inside you'll find the laundry area with washer and dryer.

Mid level: King Master Bedroom with TV, private deck with ocean views and private bathroom with tub and shower. Den with Futon, TV/DVD and access to the hot tub deck, Queen Bedroom with deck access to the hot tub area, Bedroom with DuoBunk, Trundle and deck access with ocean view, hall bath with tub and shower and a half bath on landing to upper level.

Top level: King Master Bedroom with TV/DVD, private bathroom and deck access with ocean views. Large kitchen with counter seating for 2, dining area seating 8 and the great room with TV and deck access. Ship’s Watch with beautiful ocean views.

Extras: Private  Pool (12 x 26), hot tub, two 4x4 parking passes (with $50 cash deposit), 4 TVs (streaming), 2 DVDs, wireless internet, gas & charcoal grills, ships watch, beach toys, beach chairs, screened porch, pack-n-play, high chair, baby gate, hammock, outside shower, corn hole, movies, books, puzzles, water cooler with hot and cold options (water bottles not supplied) and linens and towels provided. Linens and towels provided at no additional cost. This home will provide sheets for all beds and the beds will be made with the exception of sleep sofas, top bunks and trundle beds in which case the sheets are provided. This home also provides 1 bath towel and 1 wash cloth per person the house sleeps, 2 hand towels per full bathroom, 1 hand towel per half bathroom and a bath mat for each shower or tub.

Gas fireplace is not available to renters. 

4-WD REQUIRED - This home is only accessible by high clearance Four-Wheel-Drive vehicles such as a Jeep Cherokee, Ford Explorer, etc. You will be driving on the beach, over dune lines and in soft sand.

Trash pick-up is Wednesday and Sunday.

Swan Beach is convenient for families with children and older folks because it is not necessary to walk to the beach. A walk over the dune or a 30 second drive in your four wheel drive vehicle brings you out to the beach where you can park right on the beach and enjoy the luxury of having all your beach goodies at your fingertips and enjoy the day! Wild horses roam the area as well as fox, deer, and lots of waterfowl on the sound.

Beach Parking Passes are required to park on the beach from the last Saturday in April through the first Saturday in October. You do not need a pass to drive on the beach or park at the home. Two 4x4 parking passes are included with each 4x4 vacation home with a $50 cash deposit (refunded when passes are returned). Passes can be picked up at our Corolla Office (1023 Ocean Trail) during business hours. If more than two passes are needed, there are a limited number of additional available parking passes each week that can be purchased from Currituck County. The cost for a 4x4 parking pass is $50 and can be purchased online, but has to be picked up in person at the Corolla Visitor Center. Please double check Corolla Visitor Center business hours when planning your trip .

Booking: During the booking process you will be asked to enter a credit card number, nothing will be charged to this card. You will receive an email 24 hours after booking with instructions to log on to guest web to electronically sign your lease agreement and make your advance payment. You will have 10 days to sign your lease agreement and pay your advance payment to avoid cancellation. We offer optional travel insurance that you can opt in or out of on your lease agreement. Your final payment will be due 30 days prior to arrival. Reservations booked within 45 days of arrival will have 72 hours to sign the lease agreement and submit payment in full.

The fun begins where the asphalt ends on this untamed stretch of Outer Banks shoreline just south of the Virginia border. A four-wheel drive vehicle and an adventurous spirit are required to explore this beach community, where there are no paved roads and no hotels or restaurants. What you’ll find is an uncomplicated, fourteen-mile expanse of wide, sandy beaches, dense maritime forests and marshy sound-side coves. Home to the wild horses of Currituck County. Air Up Station

When Driving on the Beaches in 4×4 you must have a 4WD vehicle and must air-down (let the air out of your tires) for maximum traction in the sand. When coming off the beach, you can refill your tires, or “air-up” at the FREE Air Up Station located in Historic Corolla Park at 1100 HUNT CLUB DR, COROLLA, NC

  • Enter parking lot, veer right, follow signs

COMMUNITY RESTRICTIONS

  • Items left on the beach or under/on walkways to the beach after sunset are subject to confiscation. Please take all beach gear back to your rental each night.
