Zack Mexico will be appearing at the Outer Banks Brewing Station this New Year’s Eve.

Christmas is almost here, which means New Years Eve is close behind.

Everyone has a different idea about how to say goodbye to the past year and greet the new one; some people sit at home, others gather with friends and many people like to go out and celebrate.

It is winter on the Outer Banks and it’s not nearly as busy as will be in the summer, but there’s still lots to do for our visitors—or locals—who want to head out on New Year’s Eve.

Here at Brindley Beach we took a little time to see what’s available and we came up with what we know is an incomplete list, but it’s a good starting point.

Here are three New Years Eve events at local restaurants and bars. If these don’t seem to fit the bill, look around—there’s a lot more entertainment available.
