Sometimes it takes a while for things to really get back to normal, and we just got one more important piece of news that says the Outer Banks is really coming back. The Outer Banks Forum is retuning to the Outer Banks music and entertainment scene.

The OBF was the first Outer Banks organization to bring a regular lineup of music to the area. The sounds they brought were always intriguing and different; contemporary and modern, certainly, but invariably something beyond the mainstream.

It looks as though that tradition will be continuing through the 2022-2023 season.

The OBF season always kicked off with the Virginia Symphony Orchestra and 2022 will be no exception. Working with the Bryan Cultural Series, the Virginia Symphony will take the stage at First Flight High School on Saturday, September 17.

After the VSO premier performance for the season, there will be one show per month through April featuring everything from Bluegrass to a Beatles tribute band.

The Outer Banks is filled with the joy of music. Stop by for a while and see what it’s all about while staying in a Brindley Beach Vacations home.
