Upgrades for 2023 included the addition of a new cargo lift for luggage (not designed for passengers) and all flooring was replaced with luxury vinyl tile (except the area rug in the great room).

"Starfish & Starlight" is located at Mile Post 4 and offers the perfect spot for your family vacation!

Ground Level: Covered carport area with parking for 5 cars. Laundry room with washer/dryer, beach cart, beach toys and beach chairs. Basketball goal, gas grill, picnic table, hot tub and new cargo lift for luggage (not designed for passengers).

Mid Level: Great room with TV/DVD (Direct TV) and Queen Sleep Sofa. Queen Bedroom and a semi-private full bathroom, walk-in shower only (second door from bathroom to living areas). The dining room has seating for 8. Fully equipped kitchen with lots of cabinets, counter tops, dishes and everything to meet your cooking needs. There is a kitchen island with seating for 5 and an open sun deck on the street side. On the Oceanside, there is a screened porch with table and seating for 4 and covered deck with glider and chairs.

Top Level: This level has a loft area with an extra table seating 4 and a Day Bed with Trundle. From the loft you can access an open sun deck with beautiful ocean views. There are also 3 bedrooms on this level. Bedroom with a Double/Double Bunk (double on bottom and double on top) that shares a jack-n-Jill bathroom with a King Bedroom with TV/DVD (direct TV). King Bedroom with TV/DVD (direct TV) and a full hall bathroom.

Extras: Hot Tub, free long distance telephone, unlimited high speed wireless internet, pack-n-play, high chair, booster seat, luggage cargo lift, deck furniture, ceiling/wall fans, children's toys, puzzles & games, books for all ages. No Smoking. No pets. Full week rentals only. Distance to Beach: 300'. Beds: 2 Kings, 1 Queen, 1 Double/ Double Bunk (Double on bottom, Double on top), Trundle, Daybed, Queen Sleep Sofa. House Address: 4013 Lindbergh Avenue, Kitty Hawk. Key Type: Keyless entry. CHECK IN LOCATION: 3719 N. Croatan Hwy, Kitty Hawk Office.

This homes charges a $250 security deposit, refundable pending no damage.

Linens and towels are NOT provided but can be rented for the week. Linen and towel rental will include sheets for all beds, 1 bath towel and 1 wash cloth per person the house sleeps, 2 hand towels per full bathroom, 1 hand towel per half bathroom and 1 bath mat for each shower or tub. Linens can be requested as early as time of booking. Weekly cost: $200.00 not including tax or bed making service.

Booking: During the booking process you will be asked to enter a credit card number, nothing will be charged to this card. You will receive an email 24 hours after booking with instructions to log on to guest web to electronically sign your lease agreement and make your advance payment. You will have 10 days to sign your lease agreement and pay your advance payment to avoid cancellation. We offer optional travel insurance that you can opt in or out of on your lease agreement. Your final payment will be due 30 days prior to arrival. Reservations booked within 45 days of arrival will have 72 hours to sign the lease agreement and submit payment in full.

The house is very close to the beach in a perfect location with not much traffic. You have two beach accesses that you can use and the street in front of the house is great for riding bikes, running etc. The house is in excellent shape and has pretty much everything you could possibly need.

Our vacation was awesome and we loved the house. The home was very clean and well maintained. Love the outside patio furniture. The house is convenient to shopping and great restaurants. Great house/location. Bedrooms were good size and beds comfy. Bathrooms are updated and nice. Outdoor shower is also nice - my family uses that alot. Under the house was very clean and we found good use for the clothes line also. The new wood on the decks/screen porch is awesome. We spent several hours outside on the lower deck during our stay enjoying the breeze. Updated kitchen is very large and nice. The futon in the loft came in handy too. Family room would be perfect with some updated furniture. The couches were pretty uncomfortable. We also found it inconvenient to go outside and underneath the house to use the washer/dryer. We just wish there was a shortcut path to the beach! Overall a good stay and we would recommend it to friends!

This property is a real nice place to stay. It has toys and highchair for small children. Lots of room, very clean. If we go back to kitty hawk we will try to rent this house again.
