Pampered Pet Care Services For Dogs and Cats Ocean Sands K-9 Resort was established in 2012 and is located in Kill Devil Hills. We are a full service boarding kennel which offers a variety of boarding accommodations, amenities, services and care for our guests. Our boarding kennel services offer an open door policy during office hours, check in, check out and visits 7 days a week 7a to 6:30p, play and social time, board games, comfort bedding, PAWgaritas and PUPscicles, late night let outs, massages, GoPro video, pictures, on-site grooming and Veterinary care provided by Right At Home Mobile Veterinary Service, and 24-Hour off site Veterinary care provided by Dr. Sampson of Coastal Animal Hospital. Ocean Sands K-9 Resort charges – $25 for dogs, $10 for cats for Boarding each Noon-Noon boarding period. We offer a 10% local discount, and 15% retired or active duty Military or EMS personnel discount. $20 for a day stay which includes care 9a-4:30p $5 per hour for Bark by the Hour Care. In addition to the boarding facility, our Wedding Paws service is the exclusive PAWplanner for the Outer Banks. When you want your important furry family member to be a part of your Wedding Day, Wedding Paws takes care of everything for you from start to finish. Including transportation, attire, grooming, full service attendants, water and water bowls, feeding, and ‘Nature calling’ breaks (all removed from the site). Ocean Sands K-9 Resort also houses Second Chance K-9 Sanctuary which rescues and fosters homeless dogs and cats from euthanasia and rehomes them. We also work with local rescue organizations like the SPCA and Dune Dawgs Rescue to house their overflow until they have space. Ocean Sands K-9 Resort is a proud member of the Outer Banks Chamber of Commerce, produces the Annual Outer Banks Rescue Calendar to raise funds for local Non-Profit Animal Welfare Agencies, sponsors local pet events such as Woofstock, and is directly involved with the Wags & Whiskers.
