Gypsies, Tramps and Thieves is the beach getaway you’ve been looking for! This well-appointed home located in Avon Village boasts 5 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, panoramic ocean views from the expansive ocean-facing deck, and direct access to the beach over the wooden walkway for a day of sun-soaked fun! The fun does not stop after a day at the beach… enjoy the hot tub, and the spacious seating areas inside, or unwind on the sundeck to watch the ocean waves. Don’t forget your 4-legged family member… Gypsies, Tramps and Thieves is dog friendly!

Ground Level: Ground-level amenities include private beach access over a wooden walkway, a fish cleaning table, a charcoal grill, an outside shower, and a driveway that accommodates up to 4 vehicles.

Mid Level: Entering the home, from the mid-level covered deck, you will find Bedroom #1, furnished with a Queen bed, a Twin bed, and an attached private full bathroom. The detached primary suite is perfect if you are traveling with a multigenerational family and provides an extra area for quiet time.

Top Level: The upper level boasts an expansive open living area with beautiful ocean views. The living area includes a full entertainment center with a TV, and plenty of seating. From the living area is access to the spacious deck with plenty of seating for everyone, access to the beach, and a 6-person hot tub. The kitchen is equipped with all you need to prepare your favorite meal and a dining table that seats 8. Off the kitchen is a half bathroom and a laundry area. On this level, you will also find 4 spacious bedrooms each equipped with a TV. Bedroom # 2 is furnished with a King bed. Bedroom # 3 is furnished with a Queen bed. Bedrooms #2 and #3 are connected by a jack-and-jill full bathroom. Bedroom #4 is furnished with a Queen bed and a Twin Bed. Bedroom #5 is furnished with a King bed and an ensuite full bathroom.

Extras: Private beach access, hot tub, charcoal grill, laundry, outside shower, 5 TVs, WiFi, laundry closet, covered decks, sun decks, deck furniture, and parking for 4 vehicles. No Smoking/Vaping. Dogs Welcome. Distance to beach access: Oceanfront. Beds: 2 Kings, 3 Queens, 2 Twins. Key Type: Keyless Entry. Check-In Location: At the Property.

Fireplace is not for guest use

Linens and towels are provided all year. This home will provide sheets for all beds and the beds will be made except for sleep sofas, top bunks, and trundle beds in which case the sheets are provided. This home also provides 1 bath towel and 1 wash cloth per person the house sleeps, 2 hand towels per full bathroom, 1 hand towel per half bathroom, and a bath mat for each shower or tub.

Booking: During the booking process you will be asked to enter a credit card number, nothing will be charged to this card. After booking, you will receive an email to sign your lease agreement and make your advance payment electronically. You will have 3 days to sign your lease agreement and pay your advance deposit to avoid cancellation. We offer optional travel insurance that you can opt in or out of on your lease agreement. Your final payment will be due 30 days prior to arrival. Reservations booked within 45 days of arrival will have 72 hours to sign the lease agreement and submit payment in full.

We love it. One of the best houses we have stayed in. My husband said next time he wants this house. Plenty of room under the house. Decks you can sit on facing any direction you want. Lots of room in the house. Love the down stairs works great for a family that is separated every one has there own place to go. Hot tub was great. Everyone we spoke to was great and very helpful.

Relaxing week with family and pet. Clean home, enjoyed the deck and hot tub. Easy access to the beach, walk or bike to restaurants/stores and reasonable drive to OBX attractions.

Comfy House!

This was our first trip to OBX. We had a great time!This cozy house has all you need! The kitchen, in particular was very well stocked.We esp appreciated the roof over the outdoor table and the wooden walkway that got us so close to the water. (World’s better than hot sand!)It is worth noting that the only DVD player is so old that it only works in the queen/twin room. So, no family movie nights in the living room. (It’s also glitchy bcz it’s so old!)We loved having a washer and dryer. But it does take up all the closet space in that same queen/twin room. The “separate” queen/twin is completely outside the rest of the bedrooms. In our case this was perfect. But it might be important to know it is only accessible by going outside and downstairs. It all worked out for us. We had a great time in this cozy little place.Btw- We knew this was a pet friendly place, but there was no odor in the house!

We had such a good time at this house. A nice relaxing week with family. The house was well equipped, and we had no issues. The hot tub was a nice bonus. The views we had from the deck were absolutely wonderful. We were traveling with older parents and the view of the water was on point since they couldn’t walk down to the beach. We have been coming to the Outer Banks for more than 25 years and hands-down love the place. The house was set up and ready to go when we got there. It had Michael just everything we needed. Thank you for sharing your home with us and allowing us to make memories with our family.

We stayed at Gypsies, Tramps and Thieves for two weeks. OBX has been our family vacation destination for decades and we all travel far to get here for the family reunion. This house was exactly what we needed with the direct beach access and allowing pets. This is the first time we ventured to the Avon area, and enjoyed walking distance to the local stores, restaurants, bike rental, gym and the beach club where we attended a rock concert of a Raleigh based band. We also enjoyed the proximity of the bay. The house was clean, well equipped and we did not have any technical issues. Overall we are happy with this rental and will be coming back next year.
