At Dolphin Station, you have the best of both worlds… located in the heart of Avon Village but tucked away in between the trees to escape the bustle of the day. Dolphin Station is a one-of-a-kind home that is modeled after a classic lifesaving station that boasts an open floor plan, 4 spacious bedrooms, a hot tub, and a captain's watch with 360 views of Avon Village. Dolphin Station is less than 500 feet from the community beach access—enjoy surfing, shelling, or soaking in the sunshine for the perfect beach day!

Ground Level: Outside you will find a disability-friendly ramp to the front door, a carport and driveway with plenty of parking space, a picnic table, gas and charcoal grill, an outside shower, a fish cleaning table, and a basketball hoop.

Mid Level: Enter the home from the staircase or ramp and you are greeted by the timeless Great Room. The Great Room provides a Queen Sleeper Sofa, TV/DVD, and a half bath. The kitchen boasts custom cabinets, granite countertops, an accessible kitchen sink, counter seating for 4, and a dining area seating up to 5 with access to a small deck. Access bedroom #1, from the foyer, furnished with a Queen bed, TV, and closet with a washer and dryer. Bedroom #1 also offers a private handicap-friendly bathroom with an accessible shower (2-inch lip), grab bars, an accessible vanity, and a Jacuzzi tub.

Top Level: Take the staircase up to the top level, which contains 3 bedrooms, two bathrooms, deck access with a hot tub, and a captain's watch. Bedroom # 2 is a King bedroom with a TV, a private balcony, a private bathroom, and a spiral staircase to the captain's watch which displays panoramic views from the sound to the ocean. Bedroom # 3 has a DuoBunk (Twin over Full) and a TV. Bedroom #4 has 2 Twins, a TV, and deck access to the Hot Tub deck. Bedrooms #3 and #4 share access to the full hallway bathroom.

Extras: Hot Tub, 5 TVs, DVD, basketball hoop, entry ramp, charcoal and gas grill, picnic table, outside shower, fish cleaning table, books, and plenty of parking. No Smoking/Vaping. No Pets. Distance to beach access: 500 feet. Beds: 1 King, 1 Queen, 1 DuoBunk (Twin over Full), 2 Twins, 1 Queen Sleeper Sofa. Key Type: Keyless Entry. Check-In Location: At the Property.

Linens and towels are provided all year. This home will provide sheets for all beds and the beds will be made except for sleep sofas, top bunks and trundle beds in which case the sheets are provided. This home also provides 1 bath towel and 1 wash cloth per person the house sleeps, 2 hand towels per full bathroom, 1 hand towel per half bathroom, and a bath mat for each shower or tub.

Booking: During the booking process you will be asked to enter a credit card number, nothing will be charged to this card. You will receive an email 24 hours after booking with instructions to log on to the guest web to electronically sign your lease agreement and make your advance payment. You will have 10 days to sign your lease agreement and pay your advance payment to avoid cancellation. We offer optional travel insurance that you can opt in or out of on your lease agreement. Your final payment will be due 30 days prior to arrival. Reservations booked within 45 days of arrival will have 72 hours to sign the lease agreement and submit payment in full.

For anyone wondering, this is the perfect house. Stocked very well, extremely good location. Stayed here the past 2 years and if I come back I will choose this house every time if available.

Beautiful Home & Amazing Vacation

This house was amazing! We had a family member join us that is wheelchair bound and this home was more than accommodating. The first level has a bedroom with a full bathroom. There is a walk in shower with hand rails that was absolutely perfect for our needs. The house was very clean and sit in a very nice little neighborhood right off the beach. The beach is maybe a 5 minute walk just down the end of the road. I highly recommend this house and Brindley Beach Rentals. We will definitely be coming back! THANK YOU for an amazing vacation!

Great space! Awesome hot tub! Really close to the beach. Really enjoyed our stay. The pictures of the common areas look a little bigger in the picture, but the setup made it easy for our large group to maneuver. Thanks so much for the hospitality!

This location is only a 5-7 minute walk away from the beach. You can see the beach from the widows peak in the master bedroom. The house is also ADA compliant which is so nice to see! There’s a master bed on the first floor with a roll in shower and shower chair ready for any wheelchair users.

Bigger than we expected. We had two families and there was plenty of room for us to hang out together, but also have rooms to go to for down time. The kitchen and living space were nice and open. It had everything we needed, plus a bunch of games to play for the 'not so nice' days. We were happy overall and would rent here again!

Dolphin Station was a perfect spot for our vacation! It's located in the heart of Avon with shopping, restaurants, and the beach all within minutes. The home was clean, comfortable, and well stocked. We had a great time and plan to be back!

Great Outer Banks property!!

This house was absolutely amazing!!! The pictures in the listing were spot on. We had plenty of room for everyone and the house was beautiful. We loved the amenities this property had to offer. The small town was perfect and we loved the quaint places that were walking distance from us. We were also able to make a short drive to other restaurants/activities and still not have tons of tourists like other Outer Banks locations. The beach was a short walk from the house which was perfect. We loved our time here and only wish we could have stayed longer!! The price was also outstanding!! We definitely hope to come back soon!

We really enjoyed our off-season stay here! It was the perfect couples getaway. The hot tub was great. Plenty of nearby restaurants were open when we stayed as well. This was the perfect spot for some lazy relaxation and together time, just us. Thanks for hosting!
