Three-level house west of Hwy 12 in Waves. The reverse floorplan features the kitchen, living, and dining areas on the upper level with unobstructed views of the Sound, and a western-facing deck for amazing sunset views. 

Ground Level: Exterior amenities include a wheelchair ramp to the entry door, a fully gated private pool with a hot tub, and an outside shower. The soundfront pier is shared with 3 other houses. Inside you'll find elevator access to all levels, a den with a flat-screen TV/DVD, futon, deck access, game table seating 2, and a kitchenette with sink, microwave, and a full-size refrigerator. Bedroom with 2 Bunk Sets with a semi-private full bathroom (second door from bathroom to living areas).

Mid Level: Queen Master Bedroom with a flat-screen TV and private bathroom. Queen Master Bedroom with a flat-screen TV, private bathroom, and deck access. Queen Master Bedroom with a flat-screen TV, deck access, and private handicap-friendly bathroom with roll-under sink, roll-in shower, and duty grab bar. Laundry with washer and dryer.

Top Level: Great room with a flat-screen TV, wet bar with sink and wine captain, and deck access. Dining area seating 8 with sound views and deck access. Kitchen with stainless steel appliances, Keurig, and counter seating for 5. Half bath and a King Master Bedroom with a flat-screen TV and private bathroom.

Extras: Private pool (12 x 24), hot tub, 6 TVs, elevator, high-speed internet, gas grill, 2 full-sized refrigerators, wet bar with wine captain, hair dryer, kitchenette, traditional coffee pot, Keurig, crockpot, shared (with 3 other houses) soundfront pier with dock (shared), outside shower, outside furniture, parking for 4 vehicles, handicap friendly, wheelchair ramp, and books.

Linens and towels are provided all year. This home will provide sheets for all beds and the beds will be made except for sleep sofas, top bunks, and trundle beds in which case the sheets are provided. This home also provides 1 bath towel and 1 wash cloth per person the house sleeps, 2 hand towels per full bathroom, 1 hand towel per half bathroom, and a bath mat for each shower or tub.

Booking: During the booking process you will be asked to enter a credit card number, nothing will be charged to this card. You will receive an email 24 hours after booking with instructions to log on to the guest web to electronically sign your lease agreement and make your advance payment. You will have 10 days to sign your lease agreement and pay your advance payment to avoid cancellation. We offer optional travel insurance that you can opt in or out of on your lease agreement. Your final payment will be due 30 days prior to arrival. Reservations booked within 45 days of arrival will have 72 hours to sign the lease agreement and submit payment in full.

Outer Banks: Waves

Waves, the second of the Tri-Villages, is located on the northern end of Hatteras Island between Rodanthe and Salvo, on a narrow strip of land nestled between the Atlantic Ocean and the Pamlico Sound. The off-shore winds make this destination a kiteboarding and windsurfers dream and host one of the top locations in the world for watersport enthusiasts.

This tiny community has a lot of charm and local flair including several locally-owned restaurants, cafes, and a small market. If you are planning on stocking a beach house, visit the nearby grocery store in Avon or specialty shops found throughout Hatteras Island.

You could even give windsurfing a try! Real Watersports has everything you need to get outfitted for fun on the water whether you want to try kitesurfing or something a little tamer like paddleboarding.

You can also explore the historic Cape Hatteras National Seashore with ample wildlife, beautiful beaches, and plenty of activities. This little slice of paradise offers an unparalleled view of the untouched beauty of the Outer Banks.
