Description

Upgrades for 2023 will include a new front porch with larger area for sitting and new exterior furniture. Upgrades for 2022 included new LVP flooring throughout, new carpet on stairs, new countertops at the Tiki bar, pergola installed on the side yard, new top level decking and railing, custom built-in DuoBunks (Queen on bottom and Single on top), new hanging day bed in screened porch area, new mattresses and pillows throughout, upgraded internet mesh network (no dead spots in the house or around pool), New AC/heat pump, new water heater and new hot tub heater and pump. The house sleeps 17 people.

Sounds Amazing offers spectacular glistening views of the Currituck Sound which is available from every level including the private pool deck and the tropical Tiki bar. This beautifully furnished house is designed to meet your every comfort and need from the custom designed pool area to the fully equipped kitchen with granite counter tops. The community dock is just feet from this house (directly behind the house) where you can see turtles, multiple birds, and other wildlife.

Ground Level: Includes an over-sized 2-car garage offering a full sized refrigerator with ice maker, air hockey table and access to the private pool area. Exterior amenities include a fully gated private pool with festive Tiki bar, pergola deck with seating, covered dining area, 2 outside showers and an outdoor loo.

Mid Level: Offers a Queen Bedroom with new 40" smart TV that shares a full Jack-n-Jill bathroom with a Bedroom that has 2 Singles, Trundle and a new 40" smart TV. Both rooms have beautiful sound views and direct deck access to an open sun deck, swinging day bed in a large screened porch which also has great sound views and overlooks the pool area. King Bedroom with a new 40" smart TV and sitting area that shares a full Jack-n-Jill bathroom with a Bedroom having 2 Built-in DuoBunks (Single over Queen) and new 40" smart TV. Between levels is a half bath. Between levels is also a King Master Bedroom Suite with new 40" smart TV and stereo/CD, featuring an elevated sitting area and custom tiled private bath with a dual-headed shower.

Top Level: Features a great room with stunning sound views, gas fireplace, new 65" smart TV with surround sound and sound bar, large dining area and the well-stocked kitchen with granite counter tops, 2 dishwashers and ice maker. There is a second refrigerator in the garage with another icemaker, great for drinks. This level features a King Master Bedroom with new 40" smart TV, sitting area and private bathroom. The top level offers plenty of open deck space to take in the sound views and sunsets.

Linens and towels provided at no additional cost. This home will provide sheets for all beds and the beds will be made with the exception of sleep sofas, top bunks and trundle beds in which case the sheets are provided. This home also provides 1 bath towel and 1 wash cloth per person the house sleeps, 2 hand towels per full bathroom, 1 hand towel per half bathroom and a bath mat for each shower or tub.

There are beach chairs available for renters use in the garage but they are not guaranteed. 

Booking: During the booking process you will be asked to enter a credit card number, nothing will be charged to this card. You will receive an email 24 hours after booking with instructions to log on to guest web to electronically sign your lease agreement and make your advance payment. You will have 10 days to sign your lease agreement and pay your advance payment to avoid cancellation. We offer optional travel insurance that you can opt in or out of on your lease agreement. Your final payment will be due 30 days prior to arrival. Reservations booked within 45 days of arrival will have 72 hours to sign the lease agreement and submit payment in full.

Three floors and 28 steps should be considered. The separate floors give plenty of privacy, but there is a lot of up and down travel to keep in mind.

This is a really nice house the homeowner made some really nice upgrades. The location is prefect and the views of the sound amazing. Loved watching the sunset from the pier almost every night. Only one thing stands out that was weird the homeowner put tinting on the windows in the upper level, but it is reversed. At night you can't see outside you see the mirror side from inside. This was really bad when trying to see the sunset from inside you actually had to go outside to see it. The hot tub placement is perfect and there is a great space to cook and eat and drink under the decks. Great furniture plenty of room everywhere. The pool was smaller than the picture showed but we had allot of fun in it.

It is a great space for the family. We really enjoyed it. It does not have a private pier as it seems on the pictures (although it does say public on the description) If you are not aware of that while reading you will be confused.

  • Items left on the beach or under/on walkways to beach after sunset are subject to confiscation. Please take all beach gear back to your rental each night.
