Summersweet is a top level end unit condominium that is the perfect oasis for families seeking easy access to all that Corolla Light Resort has to offer. Only a short walk or a brief trolley ride brings you to the sandy, wide beaches of the OBX, 3 oceanfront pools, tennis and basketball courts and lots of other sunny vacation day activities. For those occasional rainy days, Summersweet is located across the street from the indoor Sports Center where you can enjoy the large indoor pool, indoor tennis courts (fee to use) and the fitness and weight room to keep fit while on vacation. Nearby are two major grocery stores, specialty food markets, restaurants and a number of interesting gift shops. For your relaxation, Summersweet features two decks, one large sun deck with comfortable Adirondack chairs and loungers, plus a private covered back deck surrounded by oak and pine trees. For quiet times or rainy days, Summersweet is well stocked with DVDs, games and books to include many children's books. Also be sure to take a walk along the sound to view the not to be forgotten phenomenal sunsets as a memory of your vacation as Summersweet!

Single Level: Great room with flat-screen HD TV/DVD/VCR, gas fireplace and stereo, well equipped kitchen with breakfast bar seating for 4 and dining area seating 4. King Master Bedroom with whirlpool bath tub, double vanity, flat-screen HD TV and deck access. Queen Bedroom with deck access that shares a full hall bathroom with a DuoBunk Bedroom with DVD player.

Extras: 2 TVs, VCR, 2 DVD players, top-level condominium, high chair, pack-n-play, wireless high-speed internet, charcoal grill on premises, gas fireplace (available November 1 - April 30), community water, linens and towels provided and Corolla Light Community Amenities for 7 (Corolla Light is a private community that requires guests to wear wristbands to access community amenities). Beach Cabana Service: The owners of this vacation rental have provided your stay with complementary beach umbrella and chair service on the beach. Included are 1 umbrella and 2 chairs provided by Corolla Beach Rentals from Memorial Day to Labor Day at the Corolla Light Oceanfront in front of the pool complex directly on the beach.

Linens and towels provided at no additional cost. This home will provide sheets for all beds and the beds will be made with the exception of sleep sofas, top bunks and trundle beds in which case the sheets are provided. This home also provides 1 bath towel and 1 wash cloth per person the house sleeps, 2 hand towels per full bathroom, 1 hand towel per half bathroom and a bath mat for each shower or tub.

This property does not offer an outside shower.

Booking: During the booking process you will be asked to enter a credit card number, nothing will be charged to this card. You will receive an email 24 hours after booking with instructions to log on to guest web to electronically sign your lease agreement and make your advance payment. You will have 10 days to sign your lease agreement and pay your advance payment to avoid cancellation. We offer optional travel insurance that you can opt in or out of on your lease agreement. Your final payment will be due 30 days prior to arrival. Reservations booked within 45 days of arrival will have 72 hours to sign the lease agreement and submit payment in full.

The unit itself was perfect for our family/group. The kitchen was perfectly appointed, and we had a great time browsing the movie and book libraries! The extras that the owners provided were so greatly appreciated and is one of the top reasons we would rent this unit again! The only thing keeping my rating from being 5 stars is the outside of the buildings, which were in dire need of power washing.

The property is well maintained considering its age (I'm guessing it was built in the 1980s). Very neat and clean. The decor is a little outdated but other than that I would highly recommend this for renting.
