Enjoy venturing out for the three-minute walk to the beach and cabana, fine restaurants, shopping, mini golf, go-carts and bumper cars, the community pool, tennis, and the playground. Or unwind at Island Girl in her own pool, hot tub, and professionally decorated rooms. 

Ground Level: Outside amenities include a private pool, hot tub, outside shower and a gas grill. Inside you'll find a Recroom with TV/DVD, Queen Sleep Sofa, stereo with CD and indoor/outdoor speakers, foosball, kitchenette with full size refrigerator and microwave, Queen Bedroom, 2 full baths and laundry area.

Mid Level: Den with TV/VCR/DVD, King Master Bedroom with TV/DVD, and a Bedroom with 2 Singles that shares a full bath with a Queen Bedroom. All bedrooms and the den have doors to the wraparound deck with hot tub, porch furniture, and stairwell to pool.

Top Level: Great room with TV/DVD, stereo, dining room seating 12, kitchen with 2 dishwashers and breakfast bar seating 4, half bath, screened porch and gas grill with grill tools on deck, home office/reading loft with HS wireless internet access and HP laser jet all-in-one fax/scanner/printer/copier and desk, and a King Master Bedroom with TV/DVD and whirlpool tub.

Linens and towels provided at no additional cost. This home will provide sheets for all beds and the beds will be made with the exception of sleep sofas, top bunks and trundle beds in which case the sheets are provided. This home also provides 1 bath towel and 1 wash cloth per person the house sleeps, 2 hand towels per full bathroom, 1 hand towel per half bathroom and a bath mat for each shower or tub.

Booking: During the booking process you will be asked to enter a credit card number, nothing will be charged to this card. You will receive an email 24 hours after booking with instructions to log on to guest web to electronically sign your lease agreement and make your advance payment. You will have 10 days to sign your lease agreement and pay your advance payment to avoid cancellation. We offer optional travel insurance that you can opt in or out of on your lease agreement. Your final payment will be due 30 days prior to arrival.
Reservations booked within 45 days of arrival will have 72 hours to sign the lease agreement and submit payment in full.

Tastefully decorated beach house with all the amenities needed for a perfect family vacation. Two dishwashers was a nice bonus. Easy walk to the beach and the Food Lion, as well as shopping across the street at Timbuck 2. Pool was nice and clean. Could use some updated pool furniture including a table and umbrella.

Island Girl was a great home to stay in. The house is very comfortable, beautifully decorated and had all the amenities we needed for a great vacation. We hope the owner has plans to upgrades to the decking and pool for the 2017 season. Having stayed in Buck Island before we knew the proximity to shopping, restaurants and the beach was a perk of this rental home.

This house was by far the nicest home we have ever rented in the 25 + years we have been vacationing in the OBX! Lots of room to spread out, both inside and outside the home. It is an easy walk to the beach and Buck Island is a lovely community! We will rent here again or in this community for sure.
