COMMUNITY RESTRICTIONS
- All items left on the beach or under/on walkways to beach before 6:30am and after 6:30pm are subject to confiscation as well as a civil penalty. Please take all beach gear back to your rental each night.
Town of Duck - Tent/Chair/Shade Restrictions:
- Set ups must allow for 15 feet, from the base of the dune, travel lane for emergency access and must not be closer than 10 feet to dune vegetation or turtle nest.
- Set ups must not be closer than 50 feet, in any direction, from a lifeguard stand, emergency, or beach access.
- Tents may not exceed 12x12, cannot be taller than 9 feet, cannot be tied together with another tent (unless they are perpendicular to the shore), must be spaced 10 feet from each other, and guy wires may not extend beyond the 12x12 max limit.
- All shade structures must be secure.
