2023 Upgrades included a renovated top level master bathroom, new bathroom lighting fixtures and top level trim painting. 2022 upgrades included a new washer and dryer, new dishwasher, new park style charcoal grill, 2 new TVs and mid level interior trim painted. Upgrades for 2021 included new exterior paint, decks stained and upgraded interior and exterior lighting.

Footprints by the Sound is the perfect place to begin every day of your fun-filled Outer Banks Vacation! Conveniently located near the main entrance to Corolla Light you're just a short walk from the Oceanside pool and activities, beach, Currituck Herritage Park, Currituck Lighthouse, shops and restaurants or the Soundfront walking path. The sunsets are spectacular, and you can enjoy star watching from the front deck with a view of the lighthouse. Walk, bike or take the community trolley (seasonal) to all of the amenities in this wonderful, family friendly community.

Ground Level: Exterior amenities include an enclosed outside shower and park-style charcoal grill. Garage with beach chairs.

Mid Level: Queen Master Bedroom with private bathroom, Queen Master Bedroom with private bathroom including a jetted tub, separate shower and deck access, Bedroom with a DuoBunk (double on bottom, single on top) and deck access shares a full hall bathroom with a Queen Bedroom with deck access. Laundry area with washer and dryer.

Top Level: Great room with flat-screen smart TV/DVD, stereo with CD, deck access and a game nook with a 4-person table. (note: gas fireplace is not for guest use). Spacious kitchen with plenty of counter space and prep sink to prepare large meals for the whole family to enjoy. Dining room seating for 8, half bathroom and Ships Watch. King Master Bedroom with deck access and private bathroom with jetted bath tub, separate shower and double vanity.

Extras: 5 TV’s, 1 DVD player , stereo with CD, outdoor shower, Keurig coffee machine, charcoal grill, jetted bath tub, garage, books, games, puzzles, pack-n-play, high chair, community water, linens and towels provided and Corolla Light Community Amenities for 11. Linens and towels provided at no additional cost. This home will provide sheets for all beds and the beds will be made with the exception of sleep sofas, top bunks and trundle beds in which case the sheets are provided. This home also provides 1 bath towel and 1 wash cloth per person the house sleeps, 2 hand towels per full bathroom, 1 hand towel per half bathroom and a bath mat for each shower or tub.

Booking: During the booking process you will be asked to enter a credit card number, nothing will be charged to this card. You will receive an email 24 hours after booking with instructions to log on to guest web to electronically sign your lease agreement and make your advance payment. You will have 10 days to sign your lease agreement and pay your advance payment to avoid cancellation. We offer optional travel insurance that you can opt in or out of on your lease agreement. Your final payment will be due 30 days prior to arrival. Reservations booked within 45 days of arrival will have 72 hours to sign the lease agreement and submit payment in full.

Resort Restrictions

  • No parking on the streets, all vehicles must fit in the driveway of the property.
  • No RV’s, ATV’s, campers, golf carts, gas or electric scooters, Segways or boats allowed in the community.
  • Trailers, boats (on trailer only), and jet skis (on trailer only) are allowed to be parked on the property ONLY if they fit in the “carport” or “under the house”. If the home has no space under it, it cannot be parked in the community.
  • No parking on grass or side of road.
  • Items left on the beach or under/on walkways to beach after sunset are subject to confiscation. Please take all beach gear back to your rental each night.
